    Dear Tony and Mo,

Charlie and I have been coming to your restaurant for the last 24 years. Every birthday, wedding anniversary, Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day have always consisted of a special lunch or dinner at Cafe Piccolo. Even though we live half-time in Bakersfield now, we must always have a special date at Cafe Piccolo when we are in town. Your food presentation has always been outstanding; the quality has always been superb; your warm and friendly atmosphere consistent. Thank you for creating such a memorable place.

We have been coming to Cafe Piccolo for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. Moe and Tony are charming, the entire staff is friendly and professional and the food is extraordinary. We have brought out of town friends and family (including some very picky visitors from New York City) and everyone wants to come back. The atmosphere is both romantic and lively. We give a 12 out of 10.

I’m originally from L.B. but have been living elsewhere since 1988. On a recent visit home, my girlfriend and I experienced Cafe Piccolo for the first time. The food, ambiance and service were five star. I can’t say enough about all of the above. John, our waiter, is top notch. He is a pro (we really liked him so I had to get the extra endorsement in there for him.)

I hope it is appropriate to mention prices. The prices, in our opinion, were incredibly reasonable for the experience.

I’m working hard and scheming cleverly so I can to return home permanently. When that happens you can count on two more regulars. Until then, you can count on a visit whenever we return.

Thanks for reminding me what a great city Long Beach is.

Most romantic way to celaberate our 10 year anniversary was to go to Cafe Piccolo and then go for a Gondola ride. It was a recommendation I got somewhere on the web and they were right on. Café Piccolo is a northern Italian restaurant with magical Italian sparkling little star lights and cozy fire pits. It was the perfect place to start the evening. An early dinner at the most romantic restaurant in Long beach was just a short mile from the peninsula. We enjoy the sunset with a stroll along the bike path and finished the evening by taking a ride in a gondola that took us around the Naples islands and the canals. The whole night felt like you had taken a trip to Italy.

How can you ignore the romance of a cozy romantic Italian restaurant whose ambiance is that of a centuries old Italian villa, a sunset walk , and a gondola ride with a gondolier singing love songs. Oh, how romantic! Can not wait to come for dinner soon.

    Thank you so much.
