I’ve been eating here for 12 years and every meal has been wonderful! The atmosphere is charming, the waiters are terrific, and the food is always delicious. The minestrone soup is a favorite as well as the crusty bread hot from the oven.

Visiting So Cal from Alaska over Memorial Day Weekend 2011. Me and my buddy were looking for a place to eat around Belmont Shores, but nothing peaked our taste buds. On the way back towards downtown Long Beach, we happened upon Cafe Piccolo. It is lush, cozy restaurant with a lot of personal attention and character. Food was immaculate and very tasty. My bud had a pasta with shrimp and I had grilled chicken style fettucini and wonderful lite chianti. Flawless execution and just rich and tasty all around. Molto Bene! Grazie milla!

Graduation time happily marks a very special time in the life of many of our younger generation, including my god-son, Benjamin Joseph Drury, currently graduating with honors from CSULB. Cafe Piccolo was my first and only choice when planning to host a dinner in Ben’s honor. Last evening proved that to have been the
wisest possible choice in restaurant service, relaxed and elegant ambiance, fine cuisine, perfect champagne, ease of valet parking and with other gaily dining guests adding to the festive atmosphere…
and…Surprise: Exquisite, delicious, complimentary chocolate dessert!
