An Experience at Cafe Piccolo, one of Long Beach’s Most Romantic Italian Restaurants, That was Beyond Great Food!
I had not been to Cafe Piccolo’s for some time and I cannot think why. From the moment we walked into the place we felt the warm welcome only Moe could give! We sat by the little garden area and watched regulars come in and be welcomed with true joy. The escargot was just as wonderful as I remembered and the rest of the meal was just as superb. If the food was the only reason to go to Cafe Piccolo, I would still go but as it is, I look just as forward to Moe as I do the food.
This is a wonderful experiance, for anyone.

Delicously Romantic!
Hands down my favorite restaurant! My boyfriend and I went a few nights ago and it was amazing. All reasonably priced. We enjoyed our fabulous entrees with some vino. 
Our server(Shawn) was wonderful. I felt like I was taken away to a rustic garden cafe in Italy. Deliciously romantic. We will definitely be back for more!

Date Night…
After two years of marriage and all the hectic chaos of daily life, it’s good to take one evening to recharge your batteries a bit and have a romantic dinner out. And Café Piccolo brings on the romance, expertly.
We love the intimacy of the room– cozy, moody lights, tables close enough for casual conversation but separated enough for “us time”. The wait staff are always wonderfully warm and friendly and helpful. And the food! The wizards in the kitchen send out truly special food, treats for all the senses. From appetizer to first course to main course to dessert and coffee, it’s all sublime. And the carefully-crafted wine list gives you ample choice for accompaniment to your meal.
The night we had our “date”, a strolling violinist charmed us with sweet tunes on her fiddle. A lovely touch of whimsy.
Café Piccolo is a keeper– a true gem in Belmont Heights. See you soon!

Food and atmosphere were great
Although we have lived in the area for many years, our first visit to Cafe Piccolo was this evening. We had heard great things about your restaurant from our neighbors but frequented other Italian restaurants closer to our home. Knowledge of entrees and wines by our server was excellent. Service was spot on and and food was top notch. Cafe Piccolo has been on our list since we moved to LB 6 months ago and when we finally made it, it was with the abbreviated clan. It was nice to be able to accomodate eight people comfortably, with plenty elbow room.
Again, the servers were fantastic and the stylish gentleman host was gracious as all get out! Make sure you try the lamb and the black linguine is an adventure!

I have been going to the restaurant for nearly 20 years, I enjoy not only dinner but for a wonderful lunch too! Service and food is always good! It has kept me and my friends, family, coming back for more! I will fill a table for a business lunch with customers and everyone leaves happy! Keep up the good work!
